Evaluate. Intervene. Succeed!
This 2-day workshop is designed to bring a specific focus to the functional examination of injuries and development of a rehabilitation plan for the upper quarter. Through lectures, demonstrations, and labs, you will learn functional examination techniques to compliment your basic clinical orthopedic examination. You will learn a comprehensive, systematic examination process to better assess the upper quarter as a whole, rather than individual parts. Initial intervention strategies will also be introduced. This workshop provides a unique learning experience into the functional examination systems and methodology behind the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of upper quarter injuries.
*Note: Only those that hold a license that allows them to evaluate in their practice act are allowed to take the Examination workshop. Anyone working with rehabilitating or transitional athletes/patients can take the Upper Quarter Functional Restoration workshop.
