Each participant will be given the opportunity to work with and shadow coaches through actual training sessions. In addition to complete strength and movement sessions, there will be a focus on Olympic Lifting for sports performance. Lectures will have a distinct focus on advanced program design with separate sessions on Maximum Strength, Mixed Method for Power Development and a Mixed Method for Hypertrophy in Athletes. Linear and multidirectional speed presentations will focus on movement dysfunction and correction through video analysis and task specific cueing. Further focus will be placed on movement dysfunction in the weight room and programming using the FMS. The introduction of lectures focusing on the Athletes’ Performance Business Development Model, DISC application, and Coaching Leadership will be delivered during the mentorship week.
