Athletes’ Performance-Los Angeles (APLA) opened in the summer of 2003 at the Home Depot Center (HDC) in Carson, CA. APLA is the hub that ties the HDC and its world-class tenants together.
The HDC is the most advanced and state-of-the-art athletic compound in the world. The 85-acre HDC complex is the center of training and development for America’s top athletes and future stars, linking the youth of today with the professionals and Olympians of tomorrow. It features a 27,000-seat soccer stadium, 20,000-seat track and field stadium, 13,000-seat tennis facility, and 3,400-seat Velodrome. The HDC hosts Men’s and Women’s National Team Training as well as top international competitions across all of these sports. The HDC is the home of the LA Galaxy, Chivas USA, the US Soccer Federation, USA Cycling, USA Track & Field, David Beckham Soccer Academy, Andre Agassi Tennis Academy, and US Tennis Association.
APLA offers the full range of AP services out of a state-of-the-art 7,400 square foot training facility at the HDC. The facility is packed with our customized, state of the art equipment and systems and our Performance Team focuses on the areas of speed, power, elasticity, strength, energy systems, prehab, rehab, and evaluation. In addition to our internal training facility, APLA utilizes the world-class resources of the HDC, combining to create an optimal environment for our athletes.
