Athletes’ Performance opened our fourth facility in Frisco, Texas as part of a partnership with FieldhouseUSA in December,2009. This partnership will bring a phenomenal training facility to the north Texas region, which is home to a significant number of elite and professional athletes, as well as top high school and college sports programs. AP has trained the last four #1 draft picks in the NFL Draft, eight of this year’s Major League Baseball All-Stars, numerous elite soccer and baseball teams around the world, and champion athletes in golf and tennis. AP Combine Training program alumni include University of Texas standouts Brian Orakpo, Michael Huff, Michael Griffin, Aaron Ross, and Roy Williams. AP also trained local NFL standouts, including Jason Witten, Mario Williams, Steve Slayton, Tashard Choice, Kyle Kosier, and Leonard Davis.
AP’s facility at FieldhouseUSA will encompass 10,000 square feet and will feature a 7,000 square-foot training floor with state-of-the-art equipment, an Energy System Development (cardiovascular training) section, a nutrition bar, nutrition consultation area, full-service physical therapy, massage and soft tissue work, an acceleration track, indoor turf training area, education classrooms, and an evaluation and testing area, all designed specifically to deliver integrated world-class training to athletes.
In addition to its core elite and professional athletic training programs, AP will host camps and clinics at FieldhouseUSA for the area’s youth athletes. These programs will include College and High School Prep programs, which utilize the same methodology used to train elite athletes to help young athletes develop proper training technique, improving performance while reducing the risk of injury. In addition, AP will host education and mentorship opportunities for coaches, trainers, and physical therapists.
